{ The Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead }, located in Overland Park, KS is a place for children and families to experience a turn-of-the-century family farm. The farmstead has nearly 200 animals and a charming living city, including this barber shop and ice cream parlor which use siding and ceiling panels from W.F. Norman.

The farmstead was renamed to honor Deanna Sue Rose, the first woman officer in the State of Kansas, who was killed in the line of duty in 1985. The farm is a living reminder of Officer Rose's love for animals.
